Back in December, I went to Macy’s and found this adorable pair of heeled rocket dog boots. At the time, I was with my mother and really wanted them. She ever so kindly reminded me that we were there looking for a good pair of winter boots, so I could trek through the mounds of snow up at school.
Here I am back home on spring break, looking at all the boots on clearance. I found a really awesome pair of boots that were dirt cheap and immediately begged my mom to buy them for me. But my mother said, “Honey, you have to ruin everything don’t you? I ended up buying you those pair of healed boots you saw back in December and was planning on giving them to you for Christmas.”
I was really excited that she bought me the boots I wanted, but ugh there were so many things wrong with this situation. First, I explained to her that Christmas is about ten months away and it is a little early to be planning that far ahead. Second, what if I had changed my mind and hated them. Then what would she have done? Macy’s would not have taken them back.
When we got home I eagerly waited for her to find them. She finally finds the box and I froze…. She pulls out a pair of SPORTO boots that I swear were one of the ugliest pairs I have ever seen.
I kindly told her that those were definitely not the boots that I had tried on. In no way did these resemble the ones I wanted. The ones I wanted had a chunky 4 inch heel, ankle length, lace ups, and tan. These were mid-calf length, a slight heel, and tan. The color was the only similarity.
I am now disappointed and bootless. Thankk you motherr.
